Build Rules & Run Basics

These baseline rules help you turn build ideas into stable runs.

  • Start deck baseline: 5 Strikes + 5 Defends; remove weak starters early when possible.
  • Merchant removal usually starts at 75 gold and rises later, so pathing for early shop matters.
  • Do not force a single combo too early; secure block, draw, and consistency first.
  • Most strong runs finish with a compact, focused deck rather than taking every reward.
  • Use relics and potions as power multipliers: card picks should match what your relics already support.
  • Build cards here are recommended core packages, not mandatory full 1:1 lists for every floor.
